SRI LANKA SCHOOLS CHESS ASSOCIATION
The National Chess Calendar incorporating tournament dates conducted by the Ministry of Education, Chess Federation of Sri Lanka and Schools Chess Association can be found in the lankachess.com website. The zonal qualifying tournaments of the individual events for this year are scheduled to be held during the month of May. Schools in various parts of the country have been notified about the dates, venues and other details of these tournaments. Apart from finding the best school chess players of the country for age categories under 07, 09, 11, 15, 17, 19 & 21, the finals, which are to be held in 04^th, 05^th and 06^th of June at Royal College, Colombo 07, will be based to select players to represent the country at Asian Schools Chess Championship to be held later this year. If you have not received any intimation about the above events or for any clarification please contact your zonal organizer. A list of the organizers is given below.
